CES 2023: Exciting news from HyperX Leave a comment

HyperX made a splash at this year’s big CES show with updated versions of its Pulsefire Haste mouse, the Pulsefire Haste 2 and Pulsefire Haste 2 Wireless, the Clutch Gladiate gamepad, and a new HX3D software for creating 3D printed bodies and other accessories.

At the beginning of 2023, one of the most famous brands for producing peripheral devices, accessories, and components for personal computers, presented several of its new products at the CES 2023 show. The most innovative was the HX3D software for creating various accessories with a 3D printer. With its help, developers can make many more peripheral device custom upgrades, “print” keycap covers, microphone holders, headphone stands, and more. By the way, HyperX also showed the first limited edition keycap covers made with a 3D printer. They are compatible with all this brand’s keyboards and most models of other manufacturers.

“Many gamers love customization and spend a lot of time on it. However, the opportunities for improving peripheral gaming customization have been limited for some time, so the main focus has been on the game itself and the specific game character,” says Daniel Kelly, marketing manager at HyperX. “However, with the arrival of HX3D, the situation has changed dramatically, and now developers can produce a lot of customized peripheral accessories,” he continues.

HyperX plans to collaborate with opinion leaders, esports players, streamers, and creative teams to develop a more diverse product line in the future. Several themed keycap sets will likely be created by the end of the year, featuring various game genres.

The first customized cover series demonstrated at CES 2023 is called the HyperX Cozy Cas. All covers are designed and printed using parent company HP’s 3D printers. The developers plan to release other cover versions yearly to attract as many players as possible.

Now it’s time to talk about other new products. As previously mentioned, this year at CES, HyperX presented the Clutch Gladiate gaming controller. It is licensed for Xbox consoles, has a comfortable form factor, holds firmly in hand, and provides more accurate control. The new controller features a dual-trigger lock system, two vibration motors for haptic feedback during gameplay, and the ability to program the back buttons. Another important feature of the new device is the textured grips, which helps the device hold more firmly in hand. To connect headphones, developers have included a separate 3.5mm jack.

“The CES show is a great opportunity for HyperX to demonstrate to gamers that they are continuously striving to improve our products and use only the latest technologies,” says HyperX Marketing Manager Daniel Kelly. “This applies not only to personal computers but also to console devices. The Clutch Gladiate is a great example of this. Like many other HyperX devices, it will allow you to get even more enjoyment from gaming on a console, thanks to its comfortable controls, well-thought-out ergonomic design, and wide range of features,” he continues.

The latest new HyperX products are the Pulsefire Haste 2 and Pulsefire Haste 2 Wireless mice. Let’s start with the wired version. The Pulsefire Haste 2 gaming mouse weighs only 53 grams and is literally packed with modern technologies and components.
