Computex 2023: Ducky’s new range of keyboards 1

Not so long ago Ducky held its presentation during Computex 2023, where it presented a whole bunch of new keyboards in all known form factors. The launch of the range is probably the Ducky x Faze Clan: Ducky One Mini in 60% and 65% layouts.

The keyboard has several new designs, Sou Sou, Frozen Llama, and Faze Clan, which are sure to please gamers and fans of eSports. Well any of the three options are sure to please! Plus, all devices are made of quality materials and of course, have a modest size – all in order to save space on the table for waving the mouse around.

Also caught on camera were Ducky One 2 branded DJ Max, Ragnarok, Shiba Says, and Dimanche (Alice in Wonderland) keyboards. The One 2 Pro is also new in an interesting design, with a Neverland-inspired look.

All models in the One 2 range are built on the coolest switches – the Varmilo Iris Blue V2 EC. Their action force is 45g, a full press requires 60g, and the switches have been extra-lubricated ‘from the factory’ and have 19.5mm springs in them.

As for the Ducky One 2 Pro (Neverland) keyboard, it has unusual keycaps. They’re called R5 MDAs and get dirtier than others. Plus, it uses carefully tuned stabilizers and is designed to improve key performance while typing.

And with the One Mini 60% Sou Sou, the developers installed Cherry MX switches so you can choose from a long list of Brown, Blue, Red, Silver, Black, or Silent versions. The unit also uses PBT keycaps with thermal dye sublimation to ensure the characters retain their appearance for longer.

Another important new product from Ducky is the prototype ProjectD keyboard with a 65% form factor. Presumably, it is already from the premium segment and all devices with this name will be hand-assembled under very, very scrupulous and meticulous quality control. The aluminum alloy and carbon fiber material are also used in various parts of the keyboard, making the device look very sturdy indeed.

The latest model on the list of new or upgraded devices is the Ducky One 3 Aura RGB with frosted RGB backlighting and a transparent AC cap. It looks impressive and can be operated with a number of switch options. These include the Kailh Jelly Box, Gateron Baby Kangaroo, and various Cherry MX models.
