The Naga V2 Pro and Naga V2 HyperSpeed mice complete Razer’s MMO series!

With 22 programmable controls, HyperSpeedWireless RF technology, three interchangeable side pads, a HyperScrollPro scroll wheel, and meticulously designed ergonomics, these are the highlights of the new NagaV2 Pro mouse from Razer! The main ones, but not all… In the middle of last week, another presentation of new products from Razer took place. It presented two wireless mice: NagaV2 Pro and NagaV2 HyperSpeed, most suitable for MMO games and the Battle Royale genre (royal battle). Both devices are made of high-quality materials, with excellent stuffing and modern technologies. The new devices will become a reliable gaming weapon in any fight!

A little bit of history

The first Naga model appeared in 2009; a series of MMO devices from Razer originated from this mouse. One of the device’s main features is a multi-button sidebar, with which you can quickly apply different skills individually or combinations of skills using macros. Pretty soon, Naga gained popularity among gamers and, according to the developers, became almost the most purchased MMO mouse. The new NagaV2 Pro, of course, has retained the main advantages of its predecessor, such as the shape of the mouse, and has acquired important updates. These are modern technologies and components with the help of which the device will work even better!

Development and ergonomics of the new Naga V2 Pro

The developers have added many interesting things to the NagaV2 Pro mouse, which applies to both the “wrapper” and the filling. Three interchangeable side plates are included, and as many as 22 programmable elements (buttons, scroll, etc.) will help you make the mouse as easy to use as possible. The device has a HyperScrollProWheel scroll, the flagship FocusPro 30K sensor, and Razer optical switches of the latest, third generation. And, of course, with such a powerful arsenal of upgrades inside and out, you’ll be able to react better, get more done, and win more often on the virtual battlefield! “Changing the shape of the device and the number of buttons using modular components makes the new NagaV2 Pro very flexible for customization,” says Chris Mitchell, head of Razer’s PC division. “Plus, by adding more scroll customization options, wireless charging, and other modifications, we have a worthy replacement for the legendary Naga, which won the hearts of MMO gamers in its time!” he continues.

Razer™ hyperscroll pro wheel

Six different innovative scroll modes and easy customization with Synapse 3 are the main features of HyperScrollProWheel. They allow you to optimize the work of the scroll as best as possible for the game or, for example, for viewing large pages on the Internet. Now some details. Five pre-installed mods: Standard, Distinct, Ultrafine, Adaptive and Free help you customize scrolling by increasing speed, accuracy, and other parameters. Plus, you can turn on the user mode and configure all the “configs” you need. Custom mod (Custom) has no restrictions in settings, so you can adapt the scroll as much as possible for games and other things. To control this mode, Synapse 3 service is used, in which you can adjust the pressing force on the scroll wheel, the number of steps during rotation, and the force curve between stages. The last setting ranges from free to step-by-step scrolling. Plus, the application has functions for adjusting the tactility of the scroll when passing through different steps.

Connection and charging without wires!

Modern technologies help Naga V2 Pro more practical and convenient for everyone who chooses this mouse. And the first one is HyperSpeedWireless. It is responsible for a fast and stable wireless connection, which relies on the adaptive frequency function. With its help, the system constantly monitors free RF channels and automatically switches to them to avoid delays in signal transmission. Another important feature is the compatibility with the RazerWirelessChargingPuck and MouseDockPro (sold separately), allowing the device to be charged wirelessly. The mouse connects using Bluetooth or a SpeedFlex cable with a USB-C connector. In Bluetooth mode, the autonomy of NagaV2 Pro is about 300 hours, and the radio frequency connection (HyperSpeed) allows you to do without recharging for up to 150 hours. And the last important detail is the simultaneous connection to several devices using the HyperSpeed transmitter. For example, if you use a keyboard with the same receiver, you can connect a mouse to it. This is a good solution in terms of optimization.

Razer’s industry-leading sensor

The flagship FocusPro 30K optical sensor is responsible for tracking and displaying your movements on the screen. This is the latest third-generation sensor with accurate tracking and several intelligent features. These include SmartTracking for more precise aiming, Asymmetric cut-off for lift-off distance control, and MotionSync for more detailed tracking. Plus, the sensor works well on different surfaces, including glass. The mouse also has third-generation Razer optical switches. They are very fast, with a delay of only 0.2 ms, and have a high margin of safety – as many as 90 million guaranteed clicks! Plus, these switches do not have the debounce effect like mechanical ones due to their specifics. And with them, you are unlikely to encounter the problem of double-clicks due to the fact that an infrared beam of light is responsible for the operation of the switches.

Razer Naga V2 HyperSpeed Wireless Mouse

This is Razer’s second novelty, which has many advantages and is well-suited for MMO games. The device has a very accurate FocusPro 30K sensor, which response ideally to every movement without any delay. And to control the mouse, you will have as many as 20 programmable buttons to perform everyday actions and play macros. The mouse is connected using HyperSpeedWireless radio frequency technology, which proved excellent in speed and stability. As for the stuffing under the main buttons, in the NagaV2 HyperSpeed, the developers took and installed second-generation Razer mechanical switches. They work without delay and have a high margin of safety – an excellent solution for a modern mouse. And now some details about the other connecting options and device autonomy. The wireless mouse also supports Bluetooth mode, which can go without recharging for approximately 400 hours. In RF mode, this figure is lower – about 250 hours. An AA battery is used to power the device, which is located diagonally to distribute its weight evenly.
