New Razer Moray In-Canal Headphones Leave a comment

High-quality sound, THX certification, good sound insulation, very lightweight and comfortable fit. Together all these features make the new Razer Moray In-Canal headset a perfect solution for gamers and streamers!

Razer has released the new Moray in-canal headphones, which like many other devices in the past were first shown off at a presentation in Irvine, California. This is an IEM headset, made in monitor design with the use of advanced technologies and perfectly selected components, due to which the device is quite suitable for streaming and different games, as well as for long gaming marathons.

Here are a few words from Alvin Chong, Senior Vice President, Business Strategy at Razer: “Our engineers put a lot of time and effort into making the Moray headset a reality. When developing these headphones, it was important for us to excel in three key areas at once: sound quality, fit, and reliability. As a result, I can confidently say that we have achieved our goals. And the THX certification is the best proof of that!”.

THX certification is widely regarded as the gold standard of quality when it comes to sound devices. Experts in the field have identified all the sound parameters that gamers require and the Razer Moray fully meets them.

Also, the new in-ear headphones have a good microphone, so you can easily communicate with your teammates or viewers during a stream. This is another important THX requirement, by the way. The microphone transmits sound quite loudly and without any distortion, perfectly coping with its tasks. As well as speakers with theirs. Plus, all components of the headset are perfectly tuned by Razer specialists, so Moray will be ready to work immediately after unpacking.

And now more about the speakers. There are two drivers in each inlay. The first one is dynamic, and it is responsible for the reproduction of powerful bass. And the second speaker is a balanced anchor, which is necessary for the transmission of upper frequencies in high quality. Together they complement each other very well and perfectly cope with their tasks.

Another important feature of Razer Moray is ergonomics. The device is carefully thought out by specialists in terms of comfort, due to which the headphones are comfortable to wear during the day. In detail, the novelty has the right shape, is well fixed in the ears, does not press, and does not cause other inconveniences, therefore you can easily get used to such headphones and use them constantly.

In addition to ergonomics, Razer has also paid attention to passive sound insulation in the new headset. Thanks to this device perfectly blocks extraneous sounds, up to -36 dB, so you can fully concentrate on the game and communication with your spectators or teammates.

Next, a little bit about the cables. The new Razer Moray uses flexible, detachable cables with OFC MMCX and 3.5mm connectors. They lock well in any position and don’t get in the way while you’re streaming or just playing. Plus, both cables are wrapped in a durable braid, making them last much longer than any ordinary wire.

The new headset comes with several pairs of interchangeable ear pads in different sizes and a protective case to carry the headset along with all the extras. By the way, the case for headphones doesn’t let in moisture, so if you accidentally get caught in the rain while traveling – no big deal. But you probably shouldn’t check it on purpose!
