Razer has launched the new Ornata V3 mechanical membrane keyboard with Razer Mecha low-profile switches, combining the best of membrane and mechanical technology. The device also features additional media buttons, a comfortable palm rest, bright RGB backlighting, and more. Overall – Blast!

The Razer Ornata V3 is slimmer than other models, thanks to its low-profile switches. But quality materials don’t compromise durability, so they’re more capable of handling the rigors of everyday use.

The Razer Mecha’s mechanical membrane switches are one of the main strengths of this full-size keyboard. They respond well to every press and have a smooth action and a distinct tactile click. Additionally, the device uses Razer Chroma RGB lighting. It has several different light effects, a broad color palette, and 10 separate lighting zones.

A bonus: the Ornata V3 comes with a wrist rest with a magnetic attachment made of soft-touch plastic. It’s easy to install and remove, stays firmly in place, and allows you to keep your hands in line with the keyboard while you play or type. And it’s always nice to have the armrest come with the keyboard itself, which is doubly nice when it’s such a fantastic armrest!

In addition to the standard keyboard version, Razer has also released the Ornata V3 X, a membrane keyboard with a single glowing zone of Razer Chroma RGB lighting. There are no other differences between the two. The Razer Ornata V3 X also has a wrist rest and magnetic mounts for easy typing. The keycaps of both devices made of durable ABS plastic with a UV coating, which helps protect the keycaps from scratches and minor damage and does not fade over time.
