Ornata V3 TKL keyboard – another new product from Razer Leave a comment

Razer has been releasing much new stuff lately, actively adding to its range of modern peripherals. In principle, 2023 could already be called the year of Razer unless the evergreens stop. And they don’t seem to be planning on stopping.

Another example was the recent announcement of the Ornata V3 TKL gaming keyboard, a more compact device with low-profile switches and an ergonomic wrist rest.

The novelty features Razer mecha-mechanical membrane switches with a distinctive tactile click and soft, smooth action. They combine the best of both mechanical and membrane switches. Plus, the Razer Ornata V3 TKL has good keycaps made of UV-coated ABS plastic. These keycaps are scratch-proof and can retain their original appearance longer.

The main difference from the full-size version is, of course, the keyboard’s form factor. The lack of a number pad means it takes up less space on your desk and leaves more room for mouse movements. And the Ornata V3 TKL also has RGB Chroma backlighting, which has 8 separate glow zones, two less than the standard Ornata V3, which is quite natural.

On the far right-hand corner of the TKL, three multimedia buttons can be used to control audio and video playback and dimming. If you haven’t used a keypad with multimedia keys, you should get that fixed immediately. Very handy!

And the last notable detail in the Razer Ornata V3 TKL is the magnetic wrist rest, which is securely attached to the keyboard and easily removed when needed. Typing or playing games is much easier because your hands are always level with the keys.
