I was excited to try the PlayStation Portal, and for the most part, it didn’t disappoint. The build quality feels premium, and the streaming experience is smooth when the connection is solid. It’s perfect for playing in bed or away from the TV — no lag in most cases and the display is crisp. That said, I did notice a couple of drawbacks. You need a strong Wi-Fi connection, or the performance drops quickly. Also, it’s a bit disappointing that it can’t run games natively — it’s entirely reliant on remote play. Still, for what it offers, it’s a fun and convenient addition to the PlayStation ecosystem.
